Apply to Join the Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee

Through Oct. 31, 2021, DHS is accepting applications from people to join the new Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee (WRAC). The committee will provide input about the implementation of Waiver Reimagine and help develop the program during virtual meetings held every other month.
Responsibilities will include:
- Create budget policy and procedures
- Consolidate the current home and community-based waiver service programs, Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI), Developmental Disabilities (DD), into two programs — Residential Support and Individual Support waivers
- Adjust the simplified service menu as needed.
Members will serve two- or three-year terms and can apply for an additional term at the end of the current one. For more information about the committee, visit the WRAC webpage. Committee members will include:
- People who use waiver services
- Family members of people who use waiver services
- Disability and behavioral health advocates
- Lead agency staff
- Waiver service providers.
