Age Friendly Minnesota Seeking Participation in Action Teams

Your voice is needed at the table!
Age Friendly Minnesota is a collective effort to build an age-friendly state for all Minnesotans.
Our team is engaged in this multi-sector effort and invites LeadingAge Minnesota members to attend upcoming Action Team Convenings that will help advance Age Friendly MN's Multisector Blueprint for Aging. We hope your participation will add an important point of view from the aging services sector.

There are four scheduled gatherings covering four focus areas:
- October 15, 9 a.m. to noon: Economic Security and Vitality
- Financial Security as We Age
- Community and Economic Contributors
- October 28, 9 a.m. to noon: Emergency Preparedness, Individual Rights and Safety
- Inclusive Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Elder Justice
- November 6, 9 a.m. to noon: Optimized Health and Longevity
- Integrated Health Care, Services, and Social Supports
- Support for Family, Friends, and Neighbor Caregiving
- A Thriving Direct Care Workforce
- November 20, 9 a.m. to noon: Connected Communities
- Affordable Housing for the Lifespan
- Multimodal Transportation Options
- Public Spaces for All Ages and Seasons
- Digital Engagement

There is no cost, but registration is requested.
Convening location for all sessions
All sessions will be held in the second-floor meeting rooms at the Elmer L. Andersen Human Services Building. The building is located on the corner of Cedar and 11th Streets in downtown Saint Paul. Public and disability access is at the front entrance on Cedar Street.
