2-Day Workshop With Dr. John Brose Helps Meet Dementia Training Requirements
Posted on September 11, 2019 by Jodi Boyne
Our two-day dementia care workshop, Person-Centered Care and Strategies to Avert Challenging Behaviors, Sept. 24-25 or Oct. 22-23, is specifically designed to equip hands-on caregivers with practical information and knowledge they need to care for individuals with dementia and the necessary problem-solving skills for dealing with challenging behaviors.
The workshop is part of the comprehensive Dementia Care Certificate Program that is underway; and is open and available for individuals to attend independently. It also meets Minnesota’s mandatory dementia care training requirements for home care agency, housing with services/assisted living and care center staff. Expert faculty include Dr. John Brose and Catherine Johnson of the Associated Clinic of Psychology, Minneapolis.
