This Session challenges traditional governance mindsets and offers theory-based practices that reinvigorate and advance nonprofit boards.

• Hear about the different forms of dysfunctional governance and the changing responsibilities nonprofit of boards.
• Consider the impact of dysfunctional governance on an organization’s overall health and the importance of the board’s oversight responsibilities.
• Gain a deeper understanding of the fiduciary, strategic and generative aspects of contemporary governance models and how they contribute to a thriving nonprofit board and organization.
