Presbyterian Homes & Services Announces CEO Retirement and Transition Plan
On February 8, 2024 by Libbie Chapuran
Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) President and CEO Dan Lindh has announced his retirement after a career of more than 47 years with the organization.
The board of directors of the St. Paul faith-based provider of senior housing, care and services projects the leadership transition with Lindh to be completed by spring 2025.
Lindh joined PHS in 1976 as an accountant. Over time, he has served as chief financial officer, chief administrative officer, head of project development and chief operating officer prior to being named president and CEO in 1996. During Lindh's tenure PHS has grown to become the third largest nonprofit provider of senior housing and services in the nation, providing care to more than 27,000 older adults through PHS-affiliated communities and Optage® home and community services.
“It’s been an incredible blessing to be part of a mission and purpose of honoring God by enriching the lives and touching the lives of older adults and those who serve them,” said Lindh. “I am humbled, thankful and privileged to have been part of this ministry for my entire career. I have been honored to work side-by-side with an outstanding board and a great leadership team, as well as capable and extraordinarily gifted staff.”
The PHS Board of Directors has launched a national search for the next CEO.
