RealTime Talent Receives Grant to Address Long-Term Care Workforce Shortages
On February 8, 2024 by Anna Mowry
RealTime Talent (RTT) was awarded a $200,000 grant from Medica to reduce registered nursing assistant shortages in LeadingAge member settings by implementing a newly designed training approach.
About the work
Since launching just before the pandemic, RTT has been hosting the first Long-Term Care Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) Collaborative in the state. TPM helps employers improve their return on investment in various recruiting and retention processes by addressing talent issues using research and data-informed insights.
RTT uses the TPM model to support collaboration with community-based organizations, training providers, and employers to inform decisions about programming and the populations they serve. For more information, please read the full press release.
Thank you to our participating members
Through the project, participating employers will support talent providers throughout the training process: before, during, and after training. Employers involved in the collaborative program include Ebenezer, Presbyterian Homes & Services, and Vista Prairie Communities.
We look forward to learning and collaborating with our members and RTT throughout this important work.
