Jodi Harpstead Named DHS Commissioner

Governor Tim Walz has named Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota President Jodi Harpstead as the new commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).
“Jodi comes to DHS with broad private and non-profit experience, and a proven record of strong, compassionate leadership,” said Gov. Tim Walz. “I look forward to working with her to deliver critical services to Minnesotans and improve the health of our communities across the state.”
